Trust & Safety Connect is hosted and attended by the Internet Dating Excellence Association (IDEA) and Online Social Community Association (OSCA). This is a 1.5 hour long event that is by-invite-only and will take place on Wednesday 18th August starting at 11am EST (New York time). The event starts with a half-hour of peer networking followed by a 45 minute panel, and then an additional half-hour of peer networking.

Norman Petty joined The Meet Group in march 2021 and is General Counsel. He leads the trust and safety team which is responsible for ensuring the safety of millions of active users across The Meet Group properties and on vPaaS partner apps. Â
Prior to joining The Meet Group, Norman spent the last 25 years as SVP and Associate General Counsel at The Wall Street Journal / Dow Jones. Â

For the last 4 years Karima has headed Happn's legal and corporate affairs and led data protection initiatives. She is responsible for data privacy, customer service and corporate communications.
Prior to working with Happn Karima was Senior Legal Counsel at Daily Motion, and worked with Microsoft specifically working on MSN & Hotmail in France and EMEA.  Karima has a Masters in Computer Science Law.
Think ofKim's new dating app, Snack, as "Tik Tok Meets Dating." It's focused on video, and as a consequence, video & moderation is of paramount importance.
Kim has a long heritage in dating and spent 10 years at PlentyofFish. She was VP Product, Revenue & Marketing at POF. POF also grew to be focused on video, using vPaaS.
Prior to POF Kim worked in global securities, and with Publicis.
Poliana is an attorney specializing in Cybersecurity, White-Collar Crimes and Internal Investigations. She was focused on internal investigations and her passion for technology led her to Cybersecurity. She assists clients with preventive, reactive and mitigating actions in respect to cyber incidents and data protection.
Her experience in corporate crime and internal investigations give her a broad view on internal policies, risk assessment, due diligence, and enable her to understand Cybersecurity related measures as a multidisciplinary project.

Poliana got her Masters in Law from University College London in 2015. She specialized in White-Collar Crimes at Fundação Getúlio Vargas in 2018, and she is currently completing an MBA in Cybersecurity.  Â
Mark runs the agency-consultancy Courtland Brooks (est. 2005) which is comprised of an elite team of 30 industry specialists focused on serving strategy, marketing and business development assistance to Internet dating companies and online social communities.
He supports the dating and online social community industries by heading IDEA.gp (since 2007) & OSCA.gp, hosting LTR, and publishing the news summary services Online Personals Watch (est. 2004) and Very Social Network (est. 2006).
Mark graduated from HBS in 2014 and completed an Executive MSc in Behavioral Science at London School of Economics in 2017.
